10 Reasons why the Schultz family hates DirectTV
10. The receiver stops working when it rains outside which means we can't watch TV, or record TV on our DVR
9. Their equipment is unreliable....we've had 4 DVRs in 2 years.
8. Anytime you make a change to your account they renew your 2 year contract without telling you.
7. No one in the entire DirectTV hierarchy has the authority to remove a credit card from your account. *cough...BS....cough*
6. They are liars and thieves
5. When you get a replacement DVR they send you crusty refurbished units when the DVR that broke was brand new when it broke.
4. The instillation dude wanted to drill a hole in our new hardwood floors instead of installing the box correctly in the wall and charge us $80.00 for that pleasure. Dumb.
3. Within an hour or two of canceling your DirectTV account a sales rep calls and tries to offer you incentives to sign a new 2 year agreement and when you say no, they argue with you.
2. DirectTV math says that a $49.99 monthly package equals a $75.00 per month bill.
1. They are LIARS and THIEVES!!!
Seriously......DO NOT give DirectTV your business. They are a horrible company. We will never again give them a cent, and NEVER have anything nice to say about their service. I'm so glad that we are finally done with them.....its been a very long 2 years!
