Just a little taste of the hilarity that is my life!! This convo was about 6 minutes after she got up this morning.
Maddie: "I got an idea."
Me: "what is it?"
Maddie: "Christmas cards."
Me: "Christmas cards? You wanna make Christmas cards? How bout some chocolate milk instead?"
Maddie: "I got another idea."
Me: "You do? what is your other idea?"
Maddie: "Hmm....I gotta think." (finger tapping on chin in "thinking" pose)
Me: "Did you figure out another idea yet?"
Maddie: "Whats this?" (holding a new shoe shining sponge)
Me: "A sponge."
Maddie: "Ooh, a sponge. I can have it?"
Me: "Sure."
Maddie: "Okay. I gotta go, see you tomorrow."
Maddie leaves room.
