Another angel in heaven

A few hours ago, my grandmother, Irene Noteboom went to meet Jesus. She was 3 months shy of her 85th birthday, survived by 4 children, 8 grand children and 9 great grand children. Irene was a spitfire of a woman, kept us on our toes and always had us laughing! She hated the color purple, loved garage sales and coffee. She quit smoking over 20 years ago and more than once this week she mentioned wishing she could have a cigarette! :o) She had a tulip tattoo on one of her toes, was horrible at keeping secrets and had never been on an airplane. She always thought of her family......never forgot a single birthday or Christmas card in my 29 years. Irene raised 4 wonderful and acomplished children and shared her sense of humor and affinity to love with her grand children and great grand children. Words can not express how much she was loved and how deeply she will be missed. I'm really glad that she isn't in pain anymore and that she's up in heaven with grandpa Ben! Please pray for my family....that we will all find peace during this sorrowful time!

I'm so sorry Gina. How wonderful that you got to see her this weekend though! And I am also glad that she is with Jesus, and probably having a blast! :)
