memory lane

I'm feeling a bit bored today even though I have lot's of stuff that I could be doing. Maddie is sick....I think it's the flu, so we're just hanging out and being mellow. I went back in my blog and was reading posts from 2008. Life has definitely changed in the past year! The walk down memory lane made me realize that I haven't posted any comparison pictures in a really long time. So, what better way to spend a few minutes of my otherwise blah day than to post some oldies but goodies of my girls?

They have both changed SO much! It's amazing how fast kids grow, and the difference a year can make. Besides the obvious growth in the girls, I notice that in the past year my photography skills have gotten better. I can't remember exactly when I got my 50mm lens, but it really takes better shots than a non prime lens does. My composition has also gotten better. It's good to know that I am growing each year as well! I'm gonna try and post more photo comparison blogs in the future because it really makes me happy to look through all of my old pictures of the girls. They were, and still are such cutie pies!
