19 1/2 months

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today! I realized that right now at 19 1/2 months, Charlotte is the same age as Maddie was when Charlotte was born! Does that even make sense? lol Maddie was 19 1/2 months when Charlotte joined our family.....if we had wanted the same age difference between our second and third children I would be having a baby right now. Weird. What better time to pull out some comparison pictures? I think overall the girls were very similar at 19 1/2 months. Maddie was a little taller and thinner than Charlotte is, Charlotte has more hair. Charlotte is also talking WAY more than Maddie was at this age.

Charlotte told me today, "Mama, I want dinner." This was at 4:00.
I said, "Are you hungry?"
She said, "Uh-huh."
I said, "Do you want to have some noodles."
She looked at me and I could see her brain working.
Then she said, "No, I want a hot dog," and then gave me a huge grin.

Maddie has always been a Mama's girl and Dan and I decided that Charlotte is our party girl. Always a laugh, always wants to be in the middle of things, loves attention! I'm glad that I'm not having another baby right now. Don't get me wrong, I love adding to our family.....but I'm glad that I get to really enjoy this part of Charlotte's life without having a tiny infant who needs all of my attention.
