glorious days of summer

Very few summer days are glorious in North Carolina, but when they show up.....we embrace them! These awesome days make me miss California and the temperate climate I grew up in. You know, it wouldn't be so bad if the humidity disappeared in the evening and everything cooled down when the sun went to bed......but alas that is not the way we roll. So, we enjoy the beautiful days when we get them, and try and hide from the heat the rest of the days. I fear that we won't have splendid weather again until sometime in September, but a girl can hope right?!?
